Polk County District Court results for Nov. 16

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 77 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Ryan Hart Ellerbe was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ellerbe was fined $93 and court costs.
Luke Angelo Graziani was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Graziani was fined $50 and court costs.
Jueneng James Hang was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hang was fined $93 and court costs.
Joel Martin Hirsh was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Hirsh was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ellis Thomas Logan was convicted of felony possession of marijuana. Logan was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs.
Travis Ray McMurray was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. McMurray was fined $100 and court costs.
Susanna A. Mellentine was convicted of driving while license revoked. Mellentine was fined $100 and court costs.
Mary Champion Rawl was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Rawl was to pay court costs.
Kyle Dean Waters was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Waters was to pay court costs.
