The Roseland Community Center Board of Directors announces the receipt of a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation to support Roseland’s “Holiday Cheer for Seniors.” The purpose of the program is to provide senior citizens in the Roseland-Eastside community with a small gift or food voucher to help ease the financial burden during the holiday.

Roseland President, Dr. Warren Carson, said that most of the senior citizens in the Eastside community are single women and many of them live alone. “Since 2009,” Carson said, “the Polk County Community Foundation has provided a generous grant to help us celebrate our senior citizens during the holiday season, and we are profoundly grateful for that assistance. What a great way to celebrate the season of giving.”
