In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 109 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Cassie Ann Barnes was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Barnes was fined $40 and court costs.
David C. Bennett was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Bennett was fined $100.
Tamara Gail Boone was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Boone was fined $50 and court costs.
Laura Yvonne Bouchard was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Bouchard was fined $50.
Amy L. Bowser-Sypress was convicted of breaking and/or entering. Bowser-Sypress was sentenced to two years supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ryan Adam Calisti was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Calisti was fined $100.
Jason Lee Causby was convicted of common law uttering and possession of stolen goods/property. Causby was sentenced to two years supervised probation and $1,500 in restitution.
Sharon D. Dooley was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Dooley was fined $102 and court costs.
Joshua Frank Gilreath was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gilreath was fined $40 and court costs.
Alazay Mishon Howze was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Howze was fined $50.
Ryan Patrick Kerins was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Kerns was fined $100.
Maria Littlejohn Lowery was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lowery was fined $20 and court costs.
Gaye B. McGinnis was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. McGinnis was fined $50.
Kenneth Brandon Painter was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Painter was fined $20 and court costs.
Sarah Elizabeth Stephens was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Stephens was fined $100.
Misty Nicole Tolliver was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Tolliver was fined $40 and court costs.
Jinsey Rayne Towery was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Towery was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Vladimir M. Yaroshenko was convicted of rear seatbelt violation. Yaroshenko was fined $100.
