Polk County District Court results for Nov. 30 & Dec. 2

In Polk County District Court on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 95 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Mateo Alvarezjimenez was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Alvarezjimenez was fined $96 and court costs.

Sara Jane Amato was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Amato was to pay court costs.

Shannon Don Battles was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Battles was fined $97 and court costs.

Decameran Lesha Black was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Black was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, 48 hours of community service, a $400 fine and court costs.

Rose Ann Carver was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Carver was fined $92 and court costs.

David C. Christopher was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Christopher was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 10 days in jail, a $400 fine and court costs.

Lisa Loftis Estes was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Estes was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Parrish Keyon Gary was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Gary was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Oliver Lewis Knight was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Knight was fined $92 and court costs.

Lorie Jean Lane was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lane was fined $40 and court costs.

Jonathan Ray Logan was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Logan was fined $50 and court costs.

Daniel Richard Macias was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Macias was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Robert Alan Norris was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired, two counts of open container after consumption of alcohol first and driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Norris was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, $200 in fines, 24 hours of community service and court costs.

Husain Mashak Patel was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Patel was fined $90 and court costs.

Heather Leigh Phillips was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Phillips was fined $30 and court costs.

Leslie Plagens-Eidson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Plagens-Eidson was fined $40 and court costs.

Stephanie Rae Wilson was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Wilson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 199 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Eva Marie Acosta was convicted of breaking and or entering, first-degree trespass enter/remain, possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of schedule II controlled substance. Acosta was sentenced to one year supervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Jessica Joanna Bailey was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Bailey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Misty Dawn Bennett was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Bennett was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs.

Denis Buzulan was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Buzulan was fined $93 and court costs.

Mary-Ann W. Campfield was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Campfield was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Jessica Leigh Dalton was convicted of two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Dalton was sentenced to 36 months supervised probation, $100 in fines and court costs.

Stewart Bane Davis was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance. Davis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Dustin Phillip Eubanks was convicted of larceny, conspiracy to break and enter building-misdemeanor larceny and breaking and or entering. Eubanks was sentenced to six year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Steven Henry Finch was convicted of obtain property by false pretense, uttering forged instrument and forgery of instrument. Finch was sentenced to two years supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Daniel Aaron Ford was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Ford was fined $150 and court costs.

Jacob Andrew Grigsby was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Grisby was fined $250 and court costs.

Heather Loutee Hendon was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hendon was fined $250 and court costs.

Temesghen K. Kahsay was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Kahsay was fined $40 and court costs.

Aurelio Hernandez Mejia was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Mejia was to pay court costs.

Phillip Demondro Perry was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Perry was fined $40 and court costs.

Toshima Leishan Pratt was convicted of resisting public officer. Pratt was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.

Brian Keith Prince was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Prince was sentenced to 45 days in prison.

Christopher A. Queen was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Queen was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Travis Dewayn Reynolds was convicted of assault on a female. Reynolds was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
