Santa makes early visit to Tryon during Christmas Stroll

Anna Tokar, 8, of Columbus, and her family attended Tryon’s Holiday Stroll Saturday evening where she and Santa had a few minutes to discuss the invisibility cloak she is asking for this Christmas. The stroll was very well attended, with shoppers, carolers, and even a few pets making their way up and down Trade Street. Many businesses offered cider and cookies; Santa met dozens of children outside Huckleberry’s; a group of carolers regaled everyone with Christmas songs; friends gathered around a fire pit to warm their hands; and singers at the clock tower entertained all.
