Polk Schools announces Teachers of the Year

At their Nov. 9 meeting, the Polk County Board of Education recognized Polk County Schools Teachers of the Year for the 2015-2016 academic year. These teachers were chosen by their peers to represent their schools. The 2015-2016 Teachers of the Year for each of Polk County Schools are: Lyla Johnson, Polk Central; Pam Arrowood, Polk High; Elisa Flynn, Polk Middle; Brandi Drake, Saluda; Chip Cash, Sunny View; Lynn Lance, Tryon; Pam Arrowood, District Selection.
