Despite predictions, the rain held off Saturday afternoon, and hundreds of beer enthusiasts joined an assortment of 30 local breweries and food vendors for an afternoon of music and fun at the Tryon depot. The Mountain Top Polka Band, above, contributed an Oktoberfest feel to the event, while more than 100 different styles of beer were made available for tasting throughout the day.
