The Polk County Middle School cross-country team participated at last week’s regional finals which were held at WCU. The entire team was present but only the top seven boys and top seven girls from the school actually raced. Julia Griffin placed 10th overall for the girls and was awarded a medal. The coach is Ms. Elliott. (Submitted by Mindy Wiener)
