To the editor:

Polk County is a unique place to live and work. Our uniqueness can sometimes causes disagreements; just because something is permissible doesn’t necessarily mean it is a popular solution.The Polk County Board of Commissioners has heard the public on this issue and they have directed me to work with the partners to facilitate an alternative option for the parties involved.  This is an opportunity for a community to work together to facilitate a positive outcome in a difficult situation.
