Tryon Estates sponsors last Grand Prix at equestrian center

A group of 35 Tryon Estates residents traveled by bus to the final Grand Prix of the fall series at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. The international competition was intense as riders from nine countries participated in the event.  Residents were accompanied by staff members David McCreight, Dee James, Kent Holden and Kally Dotson. Residents proudly stayed for the finals "jump-off" and awards presentation in support of Tryon Estates.

The last of the fall series Saturday Night Grand Prix events held at the Tryon International Equestrian Center was held Oct. 24. Tryon Estates was again the sponsor for the $127,000 prize for the final Grand Prix and there were nine countries represented in the competitions including Ireland, Canada, Russia, Colombia, Venezuela, New Zealand, France, Puerto Rico and the United States.
