Carl Edward Walker, 62, of Mill Spring, N.C. passed away on Oct. 11, 2015. He was the son of Elsie Suddeth Walker and the late Frank Walker. He was a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church and worked in construction.

He is survived by his mother, Elsie Walker of Landrum; a son, Eric Walker (Cricket) of Tryon; a daughter, Kimberly Arthur (Paul) of Holly Springs; three brothers, Terry Walker and Frank Walker both of Landrum and Thomas Walker of Cowpens; a sister, Sue Anne McClure of Landrum; and four grandchildren, Dylan Arthur, Luke Walker, Kaitlyn Arthur and Derek Arthur.

 

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop. Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
