Basketball season is back. Polk County Recreation registration has officially begun, and will remain open until Nov. 6 for first through sixth grades. Registration for our seventh and eighth grade league and ninth through twelfth grade league will remain open until Dec. 4. The season will run from mid-December through mid-February, with a break for the holidays.

There is a registration fee for all age groups. Registration forms can be found on the bulletin board on the front of Stearns Gym, and may be turned in at Stearns Gym or e-mailed to recreation@polknc.org. For any additional information, call 828-894-8199.

We will be offering seven different leagues:

1^st – 2^nd Grade co-ed
3^rd – 4^th Grade Boys
3^rd – 4^th Grade Girls
5^th – 6^th Grade Boys
5^th – 6^th Grade Girls
7^th – 8^th Grade
9^th – 12^th Grade
