Polk County District Court results for Sept. 30

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 113 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Mathew Bell was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Bell was to pay court costs.
Gary Stephen Booker was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Booker was to pay court costs.
Ricky Gray Bradshaw Jr. was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Bradshaw was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Daniel Thomas Burke was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Burke was fined $25 and court costs.
Gary Junior Hannon was convicted of open container after consumption of alcohol. Hannon was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Randy Dean McSwain was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. McSwain was fined $100 and court costs.
Devon Blake Moore was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Moore was fined $95 and court costs.
Clarence Reid Moss was convicted of flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle. Moss was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Stephanie Lynn Poole was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Poole was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Steven Wayne Waters was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Waters was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Larry Allen Wheeler Jr. was convicted of driving while license revoked. Wheeler was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
