Volunteers needed for Tryon Beer Fest

Published 8:10 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Planning for the fourth annual Tryon Beer Fest continues as the Nov. 7 festival date approaches, and volunteers are needed.

“Volunteers are such an important part of the festival. They help with pouring beer, manning the admission gates, selling T-shirts, and any of the many other jobs it takes to run the festival,” said Della Pullara, the chairperson for the volunteer subcommittee. “We’ve filled our early shift, but still have some openings on the second shift, which runs from 2:45 – 6:15 p.m.,” said Pullara.

Volunteers are admitted to the festival for free and can get a beer sampling ticket for just $10 (no drinking during your shift). They also get a limited edition T-shirt and admission to a volunteer party at a later date. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please visit tryonbeerfest.com and click on the Volunteer link.
