Mrs. Annie Mae Burns, of Tryon, N.C. passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 in Reston, Va. Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late W. C. Gaston and Annie Moore Gaston and the sister of Mrs. Betty Gaston Hoke of Greer, S.C. She is the widow of Reverend Memory L. Burns and was a dedicated member of St. Luke CME Church of Tryon, N.C. She served with Rev. Burns in the 7th Episcopal CME Church District.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at St. Luke CME Church, 462 Markham Road, Tryon, N.C. officiated by Rev. Thomas Abrams, Pastor. Services entrusted to Cannon & Sons Mortuary, Landrum, S.C.
