NAMI to host suicide prevention talk at Isothermal College

Suicide prevention will be the main focus of an information program in Polk County during national Mental Illness Awareness Week, Oct. 4-10.

 

NAMI Four Seasons (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of Henderson & Polk County will feature an information program at Isothermal Community College on Monday, Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

The topic of suicide prevention will feature a panel of speakers who have dealt with suicide personally or professionally. After brief panel presentations, questions from the audience will take a larger portion of the time. The audience will have resource information made available for distribution, at no cost.
