Brian Scott Kuykendall, 44, of Landrum passed away on Sept. 22, 2015. He was the husband of Tammy Rhinehart Kuykendall and son of Ralph and Louella Grigg Kuykendall. He was grandson of the late Vestal and Alice Kuykendall and Clarence Grigg.

He was a route salesman with Welder’s Supply House and served as an umpire for many athletic associations. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Kuykendall; his parents, Ralph and Louella Kuykendall; three sons, Kaleb Kuykendall, Dalton Kuykendall and C.J. Robinson; a sister and brother in law, Kim and Kevin Scruggs; nieces and nephews, Konner, Kyler and Karson Scruggs, Dustin and Shelby Morris and Preslee and Paislee Quinn; sisters and brothers in law, Revie and Angie Morris and Michael and Michelle Quinn; in laws, Ronald and Sandra Maness and Michael and Lynne Rhinehart; and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at Landrum First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart, Rev. Chuck Mullinax and Rev. Mark Bishop. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Brian Kuykendall Fight Fund in honor of his children, c/o First Citizens Bank.
