The Upstairs Artspace’s ArtTrek Open Studios weekend comes to an inspiring close with 2x8x2: 2 Plays, 8 Actors, 2 NY Writers.

Two performances will be presented by Underground Plays on Sunday, Sept.19 from 6-7 p.m. This free event will feature two one-act plays written by award-winning guest playwrights Annie Evans and Cate Allen, both from New York.

The plays, “Forgetting Frankie” and “Yellow T-shirt” respectively, will be performed by eight local actors including Molly Brown, Connie Clark, Marianne Carruth, Lavin Cuddihee, Patti D’Arbanville, Lorna Festa and Allen Law. Seats are limited, so call the upstairs[artspace] at 828-859-2828 to join the crowd at the Underground for a thrilling evening of theatre.
