Polk County District Court results for Sept. 3

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2015, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 194 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Benjamin Josiah Edwards was convicted of misdemeanor flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle. Edwards was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.

Sumlee Mongk Fayssoux was convicted of first-degree trespass and two counts of first-degree trespass enter/remain. Fayssox was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit and court costs.

Mahogany Michelle Harris was convicted of possess marijuana paraphernalia and operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Harris was fined $40 and court costs.

Allan Riley Holmes Jr. was convicted of speeding 49 mph in a 40 mph zone. Holmes was fined $30 and court costs.

Mason Lee Lambert was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Lambert was fined $50 and court costs.

Vickie Ruff Lindsey was convicted of possess/distribute methamphetamine precursor. Lindsey was sentenced to eight-19 months in prison with credit for time served.

Henry Aaron Pruitt was convicted of intoxicated and disruptive, assault government official/employee, communicating threats and resisting public officer. Pruitt was sentenced to 150 days in jail with credit for time served.

Casey Ray Robinson was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Robinson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Lawrence Eugene Robinson was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Robinson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Annette Cates Sain was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Sain was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Deborah L. Strobel was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Strobel was fined $30 and court costs.
