To the editor:

Commissioners Pack, Gage and Holbert have made it clear that their first priority is themselves, not the people and animals of Polk County. I naively thought elected commissioners were supposed to do what is best for the county, but it is obvious these three only care about what is best for themselves.

As a disgusted registered Republican, I eagerly await the next election to remove such self centered and retaliatory practices from our board of commissioners.
