Polk County District Court results for Aug. 5

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 193 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Stacy Camp Baughman was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Baughman was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.

Billy Joe Clayton II was convicted of level one driving while impaired. Clayton was sentenced to 18 months in prison with credit for time served and court costs.

Robert Joseph Faust was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Faust as fined $40 and court costs.

Brandon Fisher was convicted of resisting a public officer. Fisher was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.

David Patrick Hamby was convicted of four counts of animal neglect. Hamby was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, $5,563 in restitution and court costs.

Shannon Hamby was convicted of two counts of animal neglect. Hamby was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, $5,563 in restitution and court costs.

Justin Michael Keyser was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Keyser was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

George Keith Littlejohn was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation and brake/stop light equipment violation. Littlejohn was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Alexander David Mazyck was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Mazyck was fined $30 and court costs.

Shawn Duane McMillan was convicted of fish with natural bait in wild waters. McMillan was fined $20 and court costs.

Joseph Eugene Patton was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and felony possession of cocaine. Patton was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
