Pea Ridge Baptist hosts second annual Bow Shoot for Missions

Published 11:41 pm Tuesday, August 11, 2015

Last year, Pea Ridge Baptist Church in Mill Spring hosted a successful first bow shoot in which all proceeds were donated to help fund an Alaska mission trip for 15 church members.

On August 29, Pea Ridge will host its second annual bow shoot. All proceeds will go to help fund another Alaska mission trip for 10 church members. During March of 2016, the group of 10 will head to Nome, Alaska to serve with Alaska Missions. Alaska Missions’ objective during this time of the year is to serve the Iditarod dog sled race. From set up to clean up, Alaska Missions is completely involved. Through serving, an intentional attempt is made to share the love of Jesus Christ. Pea Ridge’s group will also help out at a basketball tournament, serve at a women’s shelter, and go door to door delivering Bibles in a bucket (an Alaska Missions outreach event).
