Carolyn Metcalf Barnette, 77, of Green Creek, N.C. died Aug. 8, 2015. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Sean Hyde of Floyds Knobs, Ind.; two grandchildren, Ian Hyde and J.C. Hyde. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 at Green Creek First Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Allen McKinney.
