For the month of July 2015, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office patrolled 26,083 miles, answered 669 calls for service, completed 879 house checks, 2,496 business checks, 1,256 church checks, and eight public assists. The office served 97 civil papers, and 66 criminal papers, made 19 felony arrests, 37 misdemeanor arrests, and issued 15 citations. The Polk County Jail booked 83 males, and 28 females, for a total of 111 inmates booked.
