A group of local children placed a lemonade stand in downtown Tryon on Saturday, July 18 to raise money for local charities. The stand raised $132, with 10 percent going to Hospice and the remainder donated to Kathy’s Kids at Tryon Elementary School. The children plan to set up the stand a couple more times this summer.
