The following report covers the month of June 2015.

 

Traffic

There were 62 citations issued without arrest: 25 seatbelt violations, 24 speeding, five expired tags, two careless operation, two following too close, two no license, one improper tag and one passing unlawfully. Two arrests were made for DUI and operating uninsured.

 

Criminal

There were 12 citations issued without arrest: eight simple possession of marijuana and four possession of drug paraphernalia. There were 18 arrests made: five simple possession of marijuana, four open container, three possession of drug paraphernalia, one assault and battery, one misuse of telephone, one petty larceny, one public disorderly conduct, one shoplifting and one trespass after notice.

 

Warrants

Three bench warrants were served.

 

Additional department activities

Other activities included seven accident reports, four funeral escorts and 202 warning citations.
