Downtown Columbus has a new mascot to encourage tourism. Cole Lumbus is a tree trunk carved by local artist Chris Carroll, who donated the statue to the town. The mascot is part of Columbus’ Handmade In America and Discover Columbus project. Cole Lumbus is located at Stearns Park downtown. (photo by Leah Justice)
