Recently the Rotary Club of Tryon sponsored the Fabulous 4^th Bike Tour offering a 34 mile or 64 mile route to participants. Many Rotarians, with the help of other community friends, worked to make the event possible.

There were 220 people who registered for the ride. Many who have ridden before returned, and there were quite a few “first timers” enjoying our beautiful Thermal Belt and Foothills area.

The Rotary fundraiser benefits the Gift of Life Program, which helps children with expensive medical and dental bills, and also other children and youth programs such as  Reading Is Fundamental (RIF). During the 2014-2015 Rotary Year, the Rotary Club of Tryon awarded more than $65,000 in grants – most to children and youth programs, both locally and internationally.
