The board normally meets every first and third Monday. The month of August was changed to the second and fourth Mondays because of conflicts with vacation. Commissioners also discussed last month a conflict in September with the first Monday being Labor Day. Commissioners decided to move the September meeting to the second Monday and only have one meeting the month of September. October and November will remain as regularly scheduled and December is typically a month commissioners only meet once.

All meetings are held in the R. Jay Foster Hall of Justice, on the second floor of the Womack building in Columbus.

The county’s next meeting is scheduled for this Monday, June 29, beginning at 6 p.m. to discuss a proposed water contract with the Inman-Campobello Water District. Public comment is allowed. There will be no regular meeting to follow.
