Columbus Police Department arrests two for trafficking methamphetamine, weapon violations

On Saturday June 20, 2015 at approximately 2:40 a.m., the Columbus Police Department arrested Alicia Michelle Huntsinger, 28, of Asheville, N.C. and Godiet Corral, 24, of Hendersonville, N.C. during a traffic stop on Interstate 26 west in Columbus, N.C.
During the course of the arrest, two ounces of methamphetamine and a handgun were located in the vehicle, along with assorted paraphernalia. Huntsinger was charged with two counts of felony trafficking more than 28 grams but less than 200 grams of methamphetamine, felony conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, felony conspiracy to sell or deliver methamphetamine, felony maintain a vehicle for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while impaired, opened container after consuming alcohol, speeding, reckless driving, and failing to comply with drivers license alcohol restriction.
Corral, a documented gang member, was charged with two counts of felony trafficking more than 28 grams but less than 200 grams of methamphetamine, felony conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, felony conspiracy to sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony carrying concealed gun, carrying a concealed gun after consuming alcohol, and possession of an opened container.
Huntsinger was held at the Polk County Jail under an $87,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance was Monday, June 22, 2015. Corral was held at the Polk County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was Monday, June 22, 2015.
