Polk County District Court results for June 10

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, June 10, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 123 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Timothy Jermaine Allen was convicted of felony probation violation. Allen was sentenced to 40 days in jail with credit for 36 days.

Toni Shaleen Allen was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Allen was to pay court costs.

Cathie Armstrong was convicted of failure to wear seat belt-driver. Armstrong was fined $200 and court costs.

Alfredo Aguirre Castro was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Castro was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Osnuel Corpus was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Corpus was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Christopher T. Day was convicted of impaired equipment. Day was to pay court costs.

Thomas Charles Dowell was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Dowell was fined $50 and court costs.

Lauren Laree Greene was convicted of impaired equipment. Greene was fined $40 and court costs.

Jason Allen Jones was convicted of level one driving while impaired and driving while license revoked impaired revocation. Jones was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail, 72 hours of community service, a $500 fine and court costs for driving while impaired and sentenced to 24 months supervised probation and a $200 fine for driving while license revoked.

Keith Michael Lusk was convicted of three counts of misdemeanor probation violation and one count of felony probation violation. Lusk was sentenced to 150 days in jail with credit for time served.

Michael George Matus was convicted of impaired equipment. Matus was fined $40 and court costs.

David Elick Parrish was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Parrish was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $300 fine and court costs.

Timothy Douglas Poucher was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Poucher was fined $30 and court costs.

Travis Lawrence Smith was convicted of littering not greater than 15 lbs. Smith was fined $50 and court costs.

Richard Wilson was convicted of impaired equipment. Wilson was fined $60 and court costs.
