Polk County District Court results for May 27

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 180 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Mayank Rajend Bavishi was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bavishi was fined 95 and court costs.
Anthony Robert Cone was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Cone was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 27 days in jail with credit for time served, a $100 fine and court costs.
Zachary Logan Davis was convicted of remove plants from game lands. Davis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.
Robert Clark Deckert was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Deckert was sentenced to 45 days in jail with 32 days credit.
George Keith Littlejohn was convicted of shoplifting concealment goods. Littlejohn was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.
Daniel Adam Rice was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Rice was fined $100 and court costs.
Michael Carrol Stamey was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Stamey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
James Paul Wood was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Wood was fined $50 and court costs.
Thomas Lee Wood was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Wood was fined $50 and court costs.
