Polk County District Court results for April 27 and April 29

In Polk County District Court on April 27, 2015 with Judge Peter Knight presiding, 87 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Nawaf Saeed Alghamdi was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Alghamdi was fined $90 and court costs.

Abdilmuhsen Alhashar was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Alhashar was fined $103 and court costs.

Guill Alvarez-Benitez was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Alvarez-Benitez was fined $100 and court costs.

Lilandra Tyar Bryant was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bryant was fined $90 and court costs.

Zachary Oren Creasman was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Creasman was fined $30 and court costs.

Leonid Mikh Danilenko was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Danilenko was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

John Julian Foster was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Foster was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Nagaraju Grandhi was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Grandhi was fined $50 and court costs.

Malcolm Dewayne Hannon was convicted of level four driving while impaired, obtaining property under false pretenses and resisting public officer. Hannon was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, two days in jail with credit, a $100 fine and court costs for driving while impaired; 24 months supervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs for obtaining property under false pretenses and 20 days in jail with credit for resisting public officer.

Scott Christi Harbach was convicted of impaired equipment. Harbach was fined $75 and court costs.

Heab Hiam was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hiam was fined $92 and court costs.

William James Mann was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Mann was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Joseph Donald McCarter was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. McCarter was fined $92 and court costs.

Vict Montoya-Contreras was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Montoya-Contreras was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $150 fine and court costs.

Bahija Robertson was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Robertson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Austin Tapia was convicted of impaired equipment. Tapia was fined $100 and court costs.

Douglas J. Whiteside was convicted of failure to dim headlamps and failure to notify DMV of address change. Whiteside was fined $100 and court costs.

In Polk County District Court on April 29, 2015 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 86 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Kelsey Lynn Beeman was convicted of impaired equipment. Beeman was fined $40 and court costs.

Whitney Lenee Duncan was convicted of impaired equipment. Duncan was to pay court costs.

Jacob Samuel Gordon was convicted of was convicted of remove plant from game lands. Gordon was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $35 fine and court costs.

Michael Kareem Hannon was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Hannon was fined $30 and court costs.

David George Johnson was convicted of impaired equipment. Johnson was fined $40 and court costs.

Ernest Miles III was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Miles was fined $30 and court costs.

Jessica Lyn Moore was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Moore was fined $50 and court costs.

Lauren Elizabeth Perkins was convicted of impaired equipment. Perkins was fined $40 and court costs.

Joel C. Williams was convicted of failure to appear. Williams was fined $100 and court costs.
