Catherine Arnett McGarity, 70, of Columbus passed away on May 5, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Keeton and Louise Barnes Arnett and wife of Ronald McGarity, Sr.

 

She was a retired school teacher and a registered nurse. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her husband, Ronald McGarity, Sr.; two sons, David McGarity (Julie) of Columbus and Cameron McGarity (Heatherly) of Campobello; four grandchildren, Claudia, Benjamin, Molly and Wyatt McGarity and a brother, Keeton Arnett, Jr. of Yarmouth Port, Mass.

 

She was predeceased by a sister, Annabelle Miller.

 

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the church conducted by Rev. Nick Vance and Rev. J.B. Godfrey. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
