Frances G. Rosenblad

Frances G. Rosenblad, 81, of Columbus, N.C. passed away, Tuesday evening, May 5, 2015 in the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, S.C.

Born in Mineola, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Gagliano McClean.  She moved to Columbus in 1988 coming from Wading River, N.Y.  Mrs. Rosenblad volunteered with Outreach Ministries and Meals on Wheels.  She was a member of Columbus Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and taught children during Vacation Bible School.

Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Carl Rosenblad; two sons, Ken Rosenblad of Providence, R.I. and Neil Rosenblad of Montpelier, Vt.; two daughters, Karen Hennessey of Mastic Beach, N.Y. and Lynne Leonardi of Sussex, Wisc.; one sister, Sally Fox of Milton, Del.; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Ann, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Caroline, Lauren and Kirsten.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 in the Columbus Presbyterian Church, Columbus, N.C. with Rev. Dr. Phil Dunford officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 1-1:45 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be in Center Moriches, N.Y.
