During Polk County District Court on April 22, 2015, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 103 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Angelica M. Bracetty was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Bracetty was fined $90 and court costs.

Winfred Gray was convicted of impaired equipment. Gray was fined $40 and court costs.

Katherine Ann Spence was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Spence was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Hubert Alvin Stewart was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Stewart was to pay court costs.
