Polk considers designs for new county flag

Polk County is considering a new flag to represent the county. County commissioners sponsored a contest, with the winner being Chris Morris. A committee made some changes with the proposed flag presented to commissioners on Monday, April 20. Pictured is Polk's economic development director, who also served on the committee representing the House of Flags, Robert Williamson, displaying the proposed flag.
