Upstairs Artspace to host walk and talk on abstraction

The Upstairs Artspace will be hosting a free walk and talk on Tuesday, April 28 from 5-6 p.m. Deborah Fitzgerald, Ph.D. philosophy, will discuss the work of Dusty Benedict and Paul Yanko.

 

Benedict and Yanko are two of the artists whose works are on display in the current exhibition, Boldly Abstract, at the Upstairs Artspace. A discussion of the philosophical ideas associated with their work will be presented by Fitzgerald. Benedict and Yanko will be present to discuss their work.

Among other places, Benedict’s work is in the collection of the Asheville Art Museum, and Yanko’s work is owned by the Cleveland Clinic and the Greenville County Museum of Art.
