The Polk County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 7 at 7 a.m.
Commissioners scheduled the meeting to consider a resolution endorsing the relocation of a portion of John Sheehan Road and Pea Ridge Road. The resolution needs approval in order for funding for the N.C. Department of Transportation.
The county cancelled its Monday, April 2 meeting and doesn’t meet again until Monday, April 20, which is why the special meeting was necessary.
Tuesday’s meeting will be held on the second floor in the commissioners’ meeting room of the Womack building, located in downtown Columbus. The public is welcome to attend.
