Polk County District Court results for March 18

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 179 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Daniel Albert Chinchar was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Chinchar was sentenced to one day in jail, two years unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Teresa Martin Dempsey was convicted of possession of stolen goods/property and simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Dempsey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Douglas Dwayne Durrah was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance. Durrah was sentenced to 120 days in jail.

James E. Grant II was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Grant was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.

William Earl Green was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Green was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.

Javier E. Hernandez was convicted of speeding 103 mph in a 70 mph zone. Hernandez was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $33 fine and court costs.

Kevin R. Hetherington was convicted of impaired equipment. Hetherington was fined $40 and court costs.

Christopher Liam Hill was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Hill was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Marisa Dell Johnson was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.

April Annette McClure was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. McClure was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Jacob Lee McLure was convicted of possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. McLure was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Gilbert Wesley Orr was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Orr was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Kaleb David Patrie was convicted of unsafe movement. Patrie was to pay court costs.

Quinton Daniel Price was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Price was fined $30 and court costs.

Allan Dewayn Rathbone was convicted of assault on a female and domestic violence protective order violation. Rathbone was sentenced to two years supervised probation, to complete Steps To HOPE program, $100 fine and court costs.

Amy Marie Smith was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Smith was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.

Charles Howard Trexler was convicted of impaired equipment. Trexler was fined $40 and court costs.
