Dianne Kennedy McLees, 70, of Tryon, N.C. died Wednesday morning, March 18, 2015 at her home.
Born in Taylors, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Winfred and Margaret Alewine Kennedy.  Dianne lived wonderful years in Charlottesville, Va. and Elkins Park, Pa. prior to moving to Tryon, N.C. in 1998. She was a graduate of Converse College, Spartanburg, S.C. and taught French in District 7 of Spartanburg County Schools for a number of years. She particularly enjoyed several trips to France both alone and with family and friends. Mrs. McLees was a member of Central Methodist Church, Spartanburg, S.C.

Surviving is her husband, Raymond Arledge McLees, III; one daughter, Dr. Margaret McLees Bosque (Dr. Pat) of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Raymond McLees, IV (Jennifer) of Lyons, Colo. and Lander Barr McLees of Denver, Colo.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Tryon Fine Arts Center, Tryon, N.C. Burial will be in the Old Silverbrook Cemetery, Anderson, S.C.
