During the week of March 2-9, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 192 calls for service.

There were nine felony arrests, 20 misdemeanor arrests, nine citations, 14 civil papers served and 43 criminal papers served.

Officers completed 303 house checks, 737 business checks, 405 church checks, assisted the public five times and patrolled 7,928 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked 39 inmates during the week, including 28 male inmates and 11 female inmates.
