Polk County District Court results for March 4

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 119 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jessica Nicole Donahue was convicted of felony probation violation. Donahue was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

Taylor J. Hutcherson was convicted of failure to reduce speed. Hutcherson was fined $25 and court costs.

Lawrence Jamaar Lee was convicted of impaired equipment. Lee was fined $75 and court costs.

Baltazar Mercado was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Mercado was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.

Shelly Denise Painter was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Painter was fined $50 and court costs.

Ginger Susanne Price was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Price was fined $30 and court costs.

Gladys Kay Riddle was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Riddle was fined $50 and court costs.

Daniel Everett Rose was convicted of impaired equipment. Rose was fined $40 and court costs.

Ramon Osunda Sanchez was convicted of impaired equipment. Sanchez was fined $40 and court costs.

Roberto Carlo Sanchez was convicted of impaired equipment. Sanchez was fined $40 and court costs.

Brandon Wade Stites was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Stites was fined $30 and court costs.

Jeremy Howard Taylor was convicted of impaired equipment. Taylor was fined $40 and court costs.

Sophia Lopez Vasquez was convicted of impaired equipment. Vasquez was fined $40 and court costs.

Stefanie M. Wilson was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Wilson was sentenced to seven days in jail, 36 months supervised probation, a $500 fine and court costs.

Jessica Joy Winsor was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21. Windsor was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
