Chase Away the Blues performance schedule

Tryon Fine Arts Center promises no break in the action during the fourth annual Chase Away the Blues on Saturday, March 7, 6-11 p.m. at Tryon Fine Arts Center sponsored by Pacolet Milliken. Patrons will be treated to traditional and original blues, jazz, funk and soul throughout the night cranked out by some of the best players the Southeast has to offer.

Main Stage    

Daryle Ryce, internationally acclaimed jazz and folk musician, 6-7 p.m.

Rickey Godfrey Band, composed of Nashville Southern Rock and Bluesman Rickey Godfrey with his band, which includes members of the Upstate SC’s Zataban, 7:20-8:20 p.m.

Headliner: Little G. Weevil, Southern blues, R&B and soul, 8:40-9:40 p.m.

Free Flow, Asheville’s Funk and Groove Band, 10-11 p.m.

 

Mahler Room 

Tommy Lytle and Friends*, 6-7 p.m.

Daryle Ryce, 7:20-8:20 p.m.

Tommy Lytle and Friends (*Vinnie Corda, Dave Olster, Lee Holyrod, Dave Osteen, Bob Victor), 8:40-9:40 p.m.

 

Lobby

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. and between Main Stage and Mahler Room performances, music will keep flowing in the lobby featuring Jim Peterman and Friends, Chuck Beattie & Shane Pruitt.

 

Patrons will be free to roam from room to room. Food and beverage will be available for purchase on both floors. Sponsor ticket holders will have special access to the Sponsor Lounge tucked in next to the Mahler Room for complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a full bar.

 

“The Sponsor Lounge provides a cool private place for a drink and conversation – even hard core fans will enjoy a break,” says TFAC Executive Director Marianne Carruth.

 

Proceeds from the fourth annual Chase Away the Blues benefit will fund operations at Tryon Fine Arts Center. Sponsor and general admission tickets are available. All tickets allow entry to the three music venues. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
