Polk County District Court results for Feb. 11

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 145 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Kevin Timothy Collier was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Collier was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Christopher G. Harral was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Harral was fined $50 and court costs.

Zachery Lee Marso was convicted of level five driving while impaired and level two driving while impaired. Marso was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs for level five driving while impaired and sentenced to seven days in jail, 18 months supervised probation, a $500 fine and court costs for level two driving while impaired.

Heath Dale Potter was convicted of possess/sell nontax-paid alcoholic beverage. Potter was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Shaana Monet Worlds was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Worlds was fined $95 and court costs.
