Phyllis Ann Ruegg, 82, of Tryon Estates, Columbus, N.C. passed away Monday afternoon, Feb. 16, 2015 in Tryon Estates Medical Facility, Columbus, N.C.

 

Born in Denver, Colo., she was daughter of the late Arthur Heers and Fanchon Donner Heers.  She moved to Tryon Estates in 2004 coming from Connestee Falls, N.C.

 

Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Thomas Ruegg; six sons, John Ruegg of Brea, Calif., William Ruegg of La Crescenta, Calif., Richard Ruegg of Frisco, Texas, Charles Ruegg of Belfast, Maine, Mark Ruegg of South Windsor, Conn. and Scott Ruegg of Chantilly, Va.; one daughter, Mary Jo Miller of Solomons, Md. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
