Due to anticipated inclement weather, the special and regular Polk County Board of Commissioners’ meetings scheduled for Monday, Feb. 16 have been cancelled.  The meetings have been rescheduled for next Monday, Feb. 23. The county will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. to discuss jail requests for proposals to conduct a study on jail needs and a regular meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Both meetings are on the second floor of the Womack building in Columbus.
