During the week of Jan. 5-12, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 120 calls for
service.
There were eight felony arrests, five misdemeanor arrests, two citations issued, 17 civil
papers served and 14 criminal papers served.
Officers completed 437 house checks, 794 business checks, 390 church checks, assisted
the public 11 times and patrolled 7,579 miles.
