FENCE Family Concerts is delighted to present a unique afternoon of music provided by duo bassoonists Karen Molnar and Rosalind Buda with pianist Ursula Elliot on January 18 at 4 p.m. Admission is free. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon.
The bassoon is an instrument that is seldom heard in a solo or chamber setting, but has a beautiful and extensive repertoire. Bassoonists Molnar and Buda seek to introduce you to this charming, sonorous instrument in an afternoon of music that will journey from sublime to simply jovial. Solo and duo pieces by Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Rossini, Mozart, and more will be featured.

She is former principal bassoonist of the College of Charleston Civic Orchestra and holds a BA in music from the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University. She enjoys many hobbies including knitting, sewing, gardening and volunteering at the local thrift store.
