James L. “Jimmy” Carr, 84, of Tryon, passed away, surrounded by family. He was the son of the late James Carr and Verna Daniels Carr of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Carr. Surviving family include Betty Carr of Tryon, daughters, Debra Buchanan of Mill Spring, Ronda Carr of Tryon, and Ginger Hudson of Campobello, and a son, James A. Carr of Baltimore, Ohio. He is also survived by a sister, Neola Finton, of Ohio and a brother, Bobby Carr, of Georgia. Jimmy also had nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
